Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, has been appointed Chairman of the newly inaugurated Governing Council of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS).
His appointment was made by President John Dramani Mahama and officially confirmed at an inauguration ceremony held at the Ministry of the Interior in Accra on Wednesday, 26 June 2025.
