Photos of a same-sex couple at Ghana's Independence Arch and other national landmarks have stirred heated reactions online.

Many Ghanaians have criticized the images as disrespectful to a site that symbolizes national pride and freedom, especially in a country where same-sex relations remain widely opposed.
