The collapse of another building in Cape Coast, the capital of the Central Region, has claimed one life and left another critically injured.

The building located at Ayidan Amissah Ekyir in central Cape Coast collapsed at around 2 am on Tuesday, June 25.

This tragedy follows the collapse of another ancient building, which also collapsed last week, leading to the demise of two victims.

According to Mary Ekua London, spokesperson for the affected family, the building, which collapsed last night, had developed a visible crack, but the occupants were expecting an assessment by authorities.
