Investigations into the botched revenue assurance contract between Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML) and the (GRA) by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) appear to be gaining momentum as more arrests have been effected.
The OSP, following its declaration of former Minister of Finance - who supposedly supervised the signing of the deal wanted, raided the offices of SML.
It has also arrested several individuals linked to the deal suspected to have engaged in corruption and corruption-related offences.
According to the OSP, the controversial contract has allegedly cost the state about $500 million.
