Aggrieved graduates from the 2022 batch of Colleges of Education have suspended their picketing at the Ghana Education Service (GES) headquarters following assurances that their unpaid salaries will be disbursed by the end of July.

According to a report by citinewsroom.com, the group's spokesperson, Eric Darfuor, disclosed this in an interview on Citi News on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

He noted that the Public Relations Officer of the GES had assured them that their concerns are being addressed and that salary payments would begin by the end of July 2025. "The PRO said there has been an official communiqué from GES, so we have suspended our picketing for now, and we are hoping to receive our salaries by the end of July," Darfuor explained. "If nothing comes by then, we will come back stronger," he added.

The group indicated that it will closely monitor the situation and resume protest action if the GES fails to fulfill its promise.
