Lawyers for Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi are asking the High Court to pause his criminal trial and refer key constitutional issues to the Supreme Court.
Prof.
Ameyaw-Akumfi, a former Board Chairman of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), is on trial with the Fund's former CEO, Solomon Asamoah.
Both men are accused of causing financial loss to the state in connection with the failed Sky Train project.
