The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Divine Otoo Agorhom, has expressed confidence that the party will win nine additional parliamentary seats in the region.

These new seats would add to the party's current fourteen seats in Greater Accra.

Speaking in an interview with Classfmonline.com during the NPP flagbearer 's tour of the Okaikwei Central Constituency, Mr.

Agorhom attributed this optimism to the growing popularity of Dr.

Bawumia among the electorate in the region.

He noted that the flagbearer's ongoing tour has boosted the morale of party members and increased their determination to secure victory in the December 7, general elections. "People in the region are returning to the NPP due to the recent economic stability," Mr.

Agorhom stated, adding that a few months ago, the situation was less favourable.

He emphasized that the strong reception of Dr.

Bawumia's campaign has encouraged the party to push harder to reclaim seats currently held by the (NDC) in the region.

While he did not specify which seats the party aims to win, Mr.

Agorhom expressed confidence that the NPP would secure them. "We know the seats we will annex, so we are working towards that," he said.

He also highlighted that Dr.

Bawumia has already visited ten constituencies in Greater Accra, with 24 more to go, and mentioned that the party will deploy a strategic approach to cover all these constituencies during the ongoing campaign.
