The Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) has signaled strong interest in partnering with emerging young farmers and agribusinesses discovered during the 2025 AgriFair, with the goal of integrating them into Ghana's fast-developing agro-ecological enclaves under the government's 24-Hour Economy initiative.
Acting CEO of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), Alex Mould, was at the 2025 Channel One AgriFair on Sunday, June 22, to identify and engage promising young farmers and agribusinesses for potential partnerships under Ghana's growing network of agro-ecological enclaves.
Speaking at the fair on Sunday June 22, he said the authority was impressed with the innovation and entrepreneurial drive exhibited by youth-led ventures at the fair and was actively exploring ways to support them with access to large-scale agricultural lands being developed in collaboration with the 24HE Secretariat.
MiDA, the accountable implementation agent for the 24HE agro-parks initiative, is already working with promising agribusinesses such as Marphlix and Agro Kings-both early beneficiaries of the agricultural enclave programme.
