Michael Omari Wadie, a former National Vice Chairman of the (NPP), has spoken out about the seizure of his Lexus 507 vehicle by the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) task force in January 2025.
According to Omari Wadie, the incident served as a personal eye-opener, making him realize that he was now in opposition.
He noted that when one's party is in power and things are done right, certain benefits and privileges are enjoyed-but those vanish when power changes hands.
Speaking in an interview on Asaase PA on June 19, 2025, he recounted how the vehicle was taken into custody by the ORAL team.
