The Conference of Chairmen of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have appealed to Boakye Agyarko to contest for the position of National Chairman rather than flagbearer.
They believe that with his experience and leadership qualities, he can change the fortunes of the political party, which is currently struggling in opposition.
The plea was made when the constituency chairmen of the New Patriotic Party met in Kumasi for their annual conference.
A constituency chairman who led the charge was heard saying,"Honourable on behalf of the Chairmen we have a message for you.
