A Ghanaian professor, Wisdom Tettey, has been inducted as the 17th President and Vice-Chancellor of Carleton University, a leading public institution in Canada.
He assumed the role officially on January 1, 2025.
According to Carleton University's official website, the formal installation ceremony took place on Monday, June 16, 2025, during the university's spring convocation.
The event marked the official beginning of Professor Tettey's leadership, ushering in a new era of inclusive academic excellence, innovation, and global engagement at Carleton.
