A founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has criticised the party's decision to elect a presidential candidate before reorganising its internal structures.

He described the move as unconstitutional and strategically flawed.

Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe argued that the decision to select a flagbearer ahead of electing new national, regional, constituency, and polling station executives violates the party's constitution.

He warned that such actions signal weak leadership and internal dysfunction. "In a party that has just lost a major election, it is critical to conduct a thorough analysis of what went wrong.
