Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Abura Asebu-Kwamankese, says Ghana experienced its best economic period under the NDC government.

He highlighted the NDC's economic achievements, particularly during the period from 2009 to 2012, which he described as the best in the country's history.

Speaking on the Point of View on Channel One TV on Wednesday, Kwakye Ofosu emphasised that the economy will be the central issue for voters in the December polls. "This election is going to be premised on the economy.

That is the number one item on the table.

The truth is that the best economic period under this republic has been under the NDC between 2009 and 2012." "The highest ever economic growth of 14.4% was achieved by the NDC government," he noted.

Kwakye Ofosu also pointed out the NDC's success in maintaining low inflation rates during their tenure. "We kept inflation at single digits for 33 straight months, never happened in our history," he added.
