A woman lost her life on Friday, June 20, after being hit by a long vehicle at the Bortianor Bus Stop along the Mallam-Kasoa highway.
The incident occurred as the victim attempted to cross the busy road but was run over by a truck bearing registration number WR 1475-13.
Eyewitnesses say the driver swerved off the main lane to avoid crashing into vehicles that had stopped for other pedestrians.
