The opening day of the Channel One TV AgriFair saw overwhelming success, with vendors selling out much of their fresh produce within hours - sparking both excitement and calls for more stock as the three-day event continues.
Held at the Efua Sutherland Children's Park in Accra, the AgriFair - running from Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 22 - is being hailed as Ghana's largest showcase and sale of fresh farm produce.
On its first day, it attracted massive crowds eager to buy fruits, vegetables, grains, spices, and locally processed foods directly from producers.
By mid-afternoon, several vendor stalls had been cleared out.
