The Member of for South Dayi, , has stated that former Finance Minister should not use ill health as an excuse to evade investigations by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
Speaking in a recent interview on Starr FM, Dafeamekpor recalled that former Finance Minister Kwame Peprah and his deputy, Victor Selormey, were tried and convicted despite their status and health conditions. "People have been brought to court in wheelchairs, with tubes inserted in their bodies.
They were not spared simply because they were unwell.
The doctrine of equality before the law must apply," Dafeamekpor said.
