The Member of for Kumawu, Ernest Yaw Anim, has condemned a recent incident at a school in Pepease in the Kumawu constituency, where two male teachers were captured in viral videos engaging in a physical altercation.
In the video, the two teachers were seen engaged in a heated fight inside a classroom, in full view of students, while lessons were ongoing.
Reacting to the incident in an official statement shared on his Facebook page on Friday, June 20, 2025, Anim gave the assertion that the altercation between the two male teachers arose from a dispute involving a female colleague.
According to him, such incidents are unacceptable, describing them as "unprofessional and a disgrace to the teaching profession." "I have taken note of the disturbing incident that occurred at a school in Pepease, where two male teachers were involved in a physical altercation over a female colleague.
