Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reaffirmed the country's commitment to an independent foreign policy following diplomatic engagements with the Israeli and Iranian ambassadors this week.
In a Facebook post, the Minister disclosed that he held separate meetings with Israel's Ambassador to Ghana, H.E.
Roey Gilad, and Iran's Ambassador, H.E.
Ali Ghomshi, to address escalating tensions between their countries and assess the safety of Ghanaian nationals residing in the affected regions.
