Two suspected robbers have been lynched by residents of Appiahkrom and Nsokote in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region.
The deceased, identified as Richard Arhin, 26, and Eric Osei, 27, were reportedly part of a gang that carried out a robbery operation at Maame Ama, a village near Nsokote.
The robbery resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man, Emmanuel Kwadwo Obeng, who was shot in the chest and died instantly.
The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m.
