Former Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed deep gratitude following a major endorsement from over 60 Members of Parliament (MPs) from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who have thrown their weight behind his 2028 flagbearership bid.
Addressing the media after a courtesy visit by the MPs on Wednesday morning, Bawumia described the meeting as both encouraging and symbolic of strong internal support for his potential return to frontline politics. "This morning I had a visit from our Members of Parliament, and it was a very happy visit-a courtesy call and a call to declare support for me.
I am so happy for the group that has declared support for me from Parliament," he said.
