Correspondence from Ashanti Region Ahead of an official visit from His Majesty the King of Eswatini, hosted by the Asantehene, , the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) has announced a region-wide clean-up exercise scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Under the leadership of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, this initiative aims to promote environmental cleanliness, improve sanitation, and enhance public health across all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies within the Ashanti Region.
This marks the third region-wide clean-up effort since the minister assumed office earlier this year, following successful events on Ghana's Independence Day (March 6, 2025) and during the AshantiFest festivities (April 12, 2025).
The ARCC's efforts extend beyond the clean-up exercise.
