Founder of Let Love Lead NGO, Nene Lartey Osakonor I, popularly known as Big Dawood, says this year's annual sanitation drive was about turning collective grief into purposeful action, as the organization marked the 10th anniversary of the June 3rd disaster with its third large-scale clean-up exercise in Accra.

Held at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, the event mobilised hundreds of volunteers and institutional partners to honour the memory of lives lost in the 2015 twin disaster and inspire renewed civic responsibility through a massive clean-up operation. "We are sincerely grateful to everyone who supported this year's sanitation drive," Big Dawood said. "Your presence, your energy, and your commitment helped turn a painful memory into a beacon of hope.

Together, we have made a difference not just to the environment, but to the people who call this community home." The drive saw collaboration between Let Love Lead NGO, the Ghana Police Service, National Fire Service, the Army, and several civic groups.

Participants cleared choked gutters, collected waste using heavy-duty equipment, and conducted public education sessions focused on emergency preparedness.
