Fourteen students have been suspended by the University of Ghana for two academic years due to disruptive behavior and violations of school rules.
According to a statement released on Monday, the university clarified that the disciplinary actions followed investigations by its Disciplinary Committee into multiple cases of student misconduct.
The affected students are barred from participating in all academic and extracurricular activities during the suspension period.
In a related development, the university has also sanctioned 97 students for engaging in exam malpractice.
