The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has escalated its protest against the appointment of the Acting Registrar of Births and Deaths, Mr.
Samuel Adom Botchway, calling for industrial action to demand a safe and professional work environment.
Following the association's initial petition on 28th February 2025, which received an unsatisfactory response, CLOGSAG declared a nationwide strike.
However, intervention by the Honourable Minister for Labour, Jobs and Employment led to a temporary suspension of the strike, with an agreement that engagements would continue towards resolving the impasse.
