Supreme Court nominee Justice Senyo Dzamefe has underscored the importance of press freedom while urging journalists to ensure fairness and accuracy in their reporting, especially on judicial matters.
During his vetting before Parliament's Appointments Committee on Monday June 16, he firmly stated that the judiciary is not above scrutiny and must be held accountable.
However, he cautioned that such scrutiny must be based on truth, not perception. "We are not sacrosanct.
