The former Koforidua Municipal Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Stephen Kwabena Gyamfi, has been re-arrested by security operatives at the behest of Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr , in the ongoing NSA ghost names investigation.
At a press briefing on June 13, 2025, Dr Ayine provided details on the arrest as part of the update on Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
He stated that the suspect was arrested in the early hours of Friday, June 13, 2025.
According to him, the suspect needed to be interrogated following the discovery of new accounts in his name, containing deposits believed to be proceeds from money siphoned from the NSS payroll. "I've asked that he should be re-arrested because we have discovered some new accounts containing some deposits.
