The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, has defended the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, emphasising that the ongoing investigations against officials in the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government are not politically driven but focused on recovering stolen state funds.
Addressing a press briefing on Friday, June 13, 2025, Dr Ayine rejected claims that the initiative is a partisan witch-hunt.
According to him, the investigations are rooted in constitutional duty, not political allegiance. "What we are doing is simply to account to the people of Ghana.
I will continue to account to the good people of Ghana through press briefing," he declared.
