In a momentous ceremony held at the Airport View Hotel in Accra, on June 12, 2025, Bishop Samuel Ben Owusu was officially appointed as the African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly Ambassador and Special Envoy to Ghana.
The prestigious event, organised under the auspices of the Africa Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly, brought together dignitaries, diplomats, traditional leaders, civil society actors, and members of the press to witness this historic occasion.
Bishop Sam Owusu, widely respected for his leadership in peacebuilding, humanitarianism, and governance advocacy across the continent, was lauded for his unwavering commitment to the vision of a united, prosperous, and peaceful Africa.
His new role positions him at the forefront of driving national alignment with Agenda 2063, the African Union's strategic framework for inclusive and sustainable development over the next four decades.
