Yendi-based FM station, Gbewaa Radio, has denied receiving any formal communication from the National Communications Authority (NCA) regarding alleged authorisation breaches This comes in the wake of President John Dramani Mahama's clemency directive, which called for the restoration of licenses to 64 radio stations suspended by the National Communications Authority (NCA) over regulatory breaches.

Speaking on the Channel One Newsroom on Thursday, June 12, the station's Programmes Manager, Amidu Abukari, stated that neither the NCA nor the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation had reached out to them.

He dismissed reports of the station's inclusion among those cited for authorisation issues as mere rumours. "We don't have any documents, and they have not informed us about anything.

It is just a rumour.
