The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has placed former finance minister, Kenneth Ofori-Atta, on an INTERPOL Red Notice over his failure to appear before the investigative body on June 3, 2025.

According to the OSP, was invited to assist with investigations into five separate cases of alleged corruption and abuse of public office.

He has also been re-declared a fugitive, prompting the request for global assistance through INTERPOL, to arrest the former government appointee.
