A young woman, believed to be in her early 20s, has died after being shot in Seker, a community in the Pru East District, on the afternoon of Monday, June 10.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3:00pm when the victim visited the village with her alleged boyfriend and two of his friends.
She sustained a gunshot wound to her left arm during the visit under unclear circumstances.
The group was reportedly fleeing the scene in a vehicle when they were intercepted by police.
