The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has extended a goodwill message to the candidates writing this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and urged them to approach the examinations with confidence, discipline, and optimism."GNAT joins the rest of the country in wishing all 2025 BECE candidates the very best as they embark on this crucial phase of their educational pursuit," the Association said.In a goodwill message to the candidates issued by GNAT in Accra yesterday and copied to The Ghanaian Times, it said BECE was a significant milestone in the academic journey of every pupil.The Association commended the hard work and dedication of the students as they prepare to take their first major step into the world of academics.GNAT encouraged the candidates to strictly adhere to all rules governing the examinations and to resist any temptation to engage in examination malpractices."We urge you to observe all the rules guiding the examination, refrain from malpractices and approach all the papers diligently and consciously, and surely, you would come out with flying colours," the statement said.It urged the candidates to "Approach each paper with diligence and full consciousness," adding that "Please remember GNAT is with you, and Ghana is with you, and that your labour and efforts would not be in vain.
