The family of former Ghanaian Finance Minister Kenneth Ofori-Atta has accused the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) of administrative misconduct and human rights violations in its handling of his case.

In a statement sighted by Channel One News on Monday June 9, the family alleges that the OSP suppressed and manipulated evidence, violated Ofori-Atta's right to health, disregarded judicial proceedings, and breached administrative justice.

They also claim that the OSP unlawfully declared him a fugitive during a media briefing on February 12, 2025, without a formal affidavit or charge.

The family contends that the OSP's actions have caused significant harm to Ofori-Atta's reputation and well-being.
