A 26-year-old Ghanaian based in the US has been charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses for fatally stabbing his brother.
Carl Agyemang, 26, from Willingboro, was arrested for the fratricide on Saturday, as reported by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.
Police discovered Floyd Agyemang, 23, at the brothers' family home on the first block of Hepburn Lane on Saturday around 11:15 a.m.
He was found with a stab wound to his chest and was in critical condition.
Floyd Agyemang was later pronounced dead at the hospital that same night.
An autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was homicide.
Authorities reported that Carl Agyemang attempted to flee but was apprehended near the home by Willingboro police officers.
When arrested, he was found in possession of the knife used in the murder, according to prosecutors.
A GoFundMe page, which was was created for the family, raised nearly $5,000 before closing donations.
The funds were intended for a candlelight vigil and funeral expenses.
