Two additional suspects have been arrested through military intelligence in connection with the alleged assault of three civilians at Danyame, a suburb of Kumasi, bringing the total number of suspects to 11.

The incident, which occurred on March 28, 2025, involved the arrest of three men-Kwame Adu, also known as Ogee; Kwabena Sarfo; and Christian Obiri Yeboah, popularly known as Kofi Yesu-by uniformed military personnel.

The victims were allegedly taken to the 4th Infantry Battalion (4BN) barracks in Kumasi, where they were reportedly subjected to severe beatings.

Two of the three later died from their injuries.
