Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for introducing the upcoming National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, scheduled for July 1, 2025.
The commendation came during a courtesy call by the event's planning committee at Akufo-Addo's residence.
The former president used the opportunity to underscore the importance of promoting peace, civility, and national unity.
He highlighted Ghana's unique status as one of the few African nations that has maintained internal stability despite experiencing military coups in its past.
