The Bank of Ghana's Kumasi office on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, commissioned an ultra-modern ICT training lab at the Kumasi Central Prison.

The lab is equipped with ten (10) Dell desktop computers, a projector, air conditioner, and a multifunctioning printer and photocopier.

The act is a component of the bank's Community Social Responsibility program, which aims to assist inmates with their rehabilitation and eventual reintegration.

Leading the commissioning and expressing his sincere gratitude to the Bank of Ghana was the Regional Prisons Commander, who also serves as the Officer-in-Charge of the Kumasi Central Prison, Deputy Director of Prisons (DDP) James B.
