Healthcare services at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital have been severely disrupted on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, as the strike by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) entered its third day.

A widely-circulated video on social media captured a number of patients stranded at the OPD, with limited staff.

The OPD was left nearly deserted, with patients stranded and unable to access medical attention.

The ongoing industrial action stems from the government's delay in implementing improved conditions of service for nurses and midwives.
