The Ministry of the Interior has warned the public against a fraudulent recruitment message circulating on social media, falsely claiming to offer opportunities into the Ghana Security Services via a so-called "Data Gathering Form." The scam message includes a Google Forms link and cites a submission deadline of June 10, 2025.
However, the Ministry has categorically dismissed the message as false and unauthorised.
In a public statement, the Ministry emphasized that it has not authorised any individual, group, or third-party platform to conduct recruitment or collect personal data on its behalf.
It clarified that no legitimate recruitment is ever conducted via Google Forms or similar unofficial platforms. "All official recruitment into the Security Services is advertised through the national dailies," the Ministry noted.
