The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) held a press conference on Monday, June 2, 2025, to update the general public on its work and developments in several major cases under investigation, particularly those involving former appointees of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

According to the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, while some of the cases have been referred to other law enforcement agencies for it to be reopened and re-investigated, others are being pursued by the OSP with some discoveries made.

The following are the four major cases under investigation by the OSP; The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) disclosed that the case involving former Minister of Sanitation, , has been forwarded to the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for review and the commencement of a new investigation.

This follows the OSP's own probe, launched in July 2023, into suspected corruption and related offences after large sums of monies and other valuable items were allegedly stolen from the minister's residence by her house helps.
