A governance analyst and lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Dr Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, has warned that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) government's failure to take decisive action against Anne Sansa Daly, could harm its reputation.

According to him, if those found culpable in this case are not sanctioned, it will erode the public's trust in the government and undermine its moral authority to hold other offenders accountable. "That's certain because some people have stolen goats and they have gone to jail for it.

So, how do you expect that a person who has misled the entire country and told big lies will go unpunished?

That should not be. "If that happens, what moral right will we have as a people and as a country to punish somebody who slaps another person - on grounds of physical assault.
