Government spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has explained why former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was not allowed to see Chairman Wontumi when he visited the premises of the National Investigations Bureau (NIB).
According to him, there was a laid down procedure agreed with the office of the former Vice President, however, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia breached the process, reasons why he could not access Wontumi. "There was an agreement that he comes with just a few people but upon his arrival, he was with a huge number of persons and that was a breach of the agreement reason why he could not be allowed to see him," Felix told Oyerepa TV in an interview.
Adding that "I don't think Dr Bawumia going to see him would have made any difference.
He did not honour the agreement with EOCO and NIB to create the atmosphere that enables EOCO and NIB".
