President John Dramani Mahama has assured residents of the Ahafo Region of plans to construct a modern regional hospital to enhance healthcare delivery in the area.
Addressing a gathering during his "Thank You" tour on Saturday, May 31, the President said the project forms part of a nationwide health infrastructure initiative aimed at ensuring that all 16 regions in Ghana are equipped with fully functional regional hospitals. "I am pleased to announce that plans are far advanced for the construction of a modern Ahafo Regional Hospital.
As we promised in our manifesto, all 16 regions will receive regional hospitals.
