Acting CEO of Ghana Shippers Authority, Prof Ransford Gyampo, has weighed in on the ongoing legal challenges faced by suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, asserting that the law must take its course regardless of her position.
Speaking on TV3's "Key Points" on Saturday, May 31, 2025, Prof Gyampo stated that she must go through laid down procedures rooted in the laws governing the country. "If she is wrong, the law must act; if she is not, the law must act.
Araba is not above the laws of Ghana," he said.
He emphasised that if any untoward actions are established, she must face the consequences.
