The Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Nyandoh, has disclosed the unpleasant situation he has had to endure in his bid to see his embattled Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, who is in the custody of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

According to the outspoken politician, who claims he has been sleeping at the premises of EOCO since Tuesday, he has had to endure mosquito bites while waiting to see Chairman Wontumi-who is reportedly unwell-in order to hand over his medications.

Speaking on Asempa FM on Friday, May 30, 2025, Paul Nyandoh vowed not to leave the premises of EOCO until he sees his beloved Chairman, whom he believes is being unjustly persecuted through the use of state agencies. "I keep getting weaker with each passing minute.

As I speak to you, I am right by the gate of EOCO.
