The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) 2024 flagbearer, Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, has appealed for calm among party supporters following confusion over the whereabouts of the party's Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Dr.
Bawumia, alongside other senior NPP figures including Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, had visited the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) in Accra on Friday, May 30, in an attempt to meet the bail conditions set for Wontumi.
