Former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, has criticised the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing them of abusing power over the ongoing detention of NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Addressing the media at the headquarters of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) on Friday afternoon, Mr Glover described the arrest as politically motivated and warned the NDC that their actions would not break the spirit of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). "I think that clearly, you can see the political undertone.
This is purely persecution.
