The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection has inaugurated a state-of-the-art childcare centre aimed at easing the burden on working parents, particularly mothers, within the ministry.

Designed to cater to children between the ages of 0 and 3 years, the facility offers a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment to ensure that children receive quality care while their parents focus on their professional responsibilities.

Speaking at the launch, Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, highlighted the critical need for supportive workplace policies that empower mothers and promote work-life balance.

She underscored the ministry's commitment to creating an enabling environment for women to thrive in their careers without compromising on childcare. "This initiative is not just about convenience-it is about prioritising the welfare of our staff and their children.
