The Member of for Bolgatanga Central, , has taken a swipe at the Minority Caucus for what he sees as the inconsistent behavior of its members.

Speaking on the floor of during the sitting on Friday, May 30, 2025, criticised the Minority Caucus for their dramatic U-turn in abandoning their protest at the EOCO head office over the detention of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the (NPP), and resuming parliamentary business.

This came following an earlier announcement by the Minority to boycott parliamentary business if Chairman Wontumi, as he is popularly known, was not released from custody.

Adongo accused them of failing to show solidarity with Chairman Wontumi by abandoning him, despite their earlier promise to remain at EOCO until his release. "I think Wontumi will be very very sad that you are here talking.
