Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has launched a scathing attack on the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) over its handling of the arrest and detention of Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Leading Minority MPs in a protest at EOCO's premises on Thursday, May 29, Afenyo-Markin decried what he described as inhumane and politically motivated treatment of Wontumi, who was reportedly taken ill while in custody.
